The UP Scientific Productivity System (SPS) was approved by the Board of Regents in its 1199th meeting in August 2005. The SPS aims to: (1) support the development of science and technology and (2) encourage and reward scientific productivity. Deserving scientists shall be conferred the title “UP Scientist.”

Converting Advocacies to Legislation: A Bill Drafting Seminar Workshop towards a Progressive Bangsamoro (part 1)

The Office of MP Engr Don Arbison Loong JD CESE, with the support of the Policy Research and Legal Services (PRLS) of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), conducted a seminar-workshop on “Converting advocacies into legislation for a progressive Bangsamoro” in Cotabato City on November 11-12, 2021.

PRLS meeting with MTIT Bureau of Investments
PRLS met the officers of MTIT Bureau of Investments (BOI) to discuss the following agenda:
1. Research Capacity and Development of the Ministry of Trade Investments and Tourism (MTIT), specifically the BOI personnel;
2. Investment Research and Promotions; and
3. Research requirements and processes for the crafting of the BARMM Investment Act and other investment-related policies.
